I am a member of the Tsayu clan from Witset First Nation. My late mother is Corinne Alec, I am the granddaughter of Gloria Michell (Liloos) and late Henry Mitchell Sr (K’anotz). I am the Finance Clerk here at Office of the Wet’suwet’en. My job has started with my focus to work for my community and obtain a career in the Business Administration field. Enjoying the traditional teachings from my grandmother, great aunts, my son and I are proudly learning our Wet’suwet’en language together. My employment here with the Hereditary Chiefs, gives me the opportunity to learn and strengthen our Wet’suwet’en heritage.
